Please come on 11/15 to the final Con Comm meeting on this matter.  High public engagement with this continues to be important! If you do plan to attend, please sign up at: https://linkto.run/p/BHIRQ8DD so we can let the Con Comm know to get a room big enough to accommodate folks.

The 11/15 meeting will be in the O'Neill Room at the Arlington police station at 112 Mystic Street. We will send the exact time for this agenda item when we know it.

At the 11/1/18 Con Comm meeting on this matter (which we thought would be the final meeting), the Con Comm again asked Seaver Construction (the developer proposing the 2-house project at 47 Spy Pond Lane) to explore "reasonable alternatives" to his proposal to build two houses deep in the 100 foot buffer zone of Spy Pond. At that 11/1 meeting the Con Comm indicated that they will make their decision after the 11/15 meeting. So the upcoming meeting this week is the final opportunity for the public to share their views of this proposed development (i.e., splitting the lot into two and building 2 houses that extend into the 100 foot buffer zone around Spy Pond, with one house extending deeply into the buffer, setting a terrible new precedent for building on Spy Pond).

There is still a need to cover the growing legal costs to fight this proposal. We are using the services of environmental lawyer Liz Pyle, who has been critical in this fight. If you can contribute to the legal expenses, please do so at: https://www.gofundme.com/protect-spy-pond. Any amount is appreciated.
