We began raising funds yesterday to hire an attorney for the July 14 hearing to oppose the development proposal at 47 Spy Pond. This past weekend, we conducted a poll to gauge support, and based on the results, we decided to move forward. We're now half-way to our target goal of $2000. The developer is aware of our efforts and has already taken action, issuing a statement defending his plans. The developer is prepared, and we need to be as well. Ms. Pyle's experience is vital in rebutting the developer's claims of "no harm to the environment" in front of the Conservation Commission.
