This petition is to repeal H.B 1496 and get the age of Antique Vehicles changed back to 25years old. Earlier this year Representative Jack Fortner passed a bill to change the age of antique vehicles from 25 years old to 45 years old. A few months prior to sneaking this legislation through he tried to change it but the public outcry forced him to pull the bill. Then he snuck it in with no warning to the public and it made it through. This petition is not just to undo this ridiculous bill but to remind our Representatives that they work for us and should not ignore our voices by sneaking stuff through with no warning, especially when has already been rejected so heavily by the public.
