There is a court hearing tomorrow morning for Edith and her family. If you don't remember, Edith is a Therapy/Emotional Support dog for an 11 year old who has Asperger's Syndrome. They live in Jacksonville, AR and the city of Jacksonville confiscated Edith, illegally, for the crime of being born a Pit Bull. They, also illegally, gave her away before the court hearing, to a rescue group in another city. The family has retained the Lancaster Law Firm to represent them and the hearing will be at 8:30 AM at 401 Markham St., Room 440. If you can come and show support for this issue, the family and Edith would be so grateful. We will be out front by 7:00 AM, holding signs and showing support. This case is a perfect example of why I started this petition. No dog, no family should have to go through this.
