Release Arizona Inmates Early To Decrease The Prison Population During Coronavirus Crisis

Arizona Inmates in jails and prisons are at risk of a death sentence due to Coronavirus. Department of Corrections does not have an adequate plan to protect inmates from the spreading of the deadly and contagious virus. Inmates with weak immune systems, poor health, and the elderly may become ill or ultimately die due to being in close quarters that is a breeding ground for Coronavirus.
States such as Ohio, New Jersey, New York, and California have recognized this threat to humans incarcerated as well as the publicand have begun releasing inmates early in fear that many inmates that do not have severe crimes may be subjected to a penalty of death despite their low level non-violent crimes.
Please release inmates by placing them on probation so that inmates will not infect entire prison and staff.
