Within two days of the petition, we have over 300 supporters who have signed the petition. Many of the supporters across the country have expressed their experiences related to this, which makes it abundantly clear that we need work towards getting rid of this hurdle. Many have mentioned about harsh treatment that they have met at these sites while attempting to sketch. Which even the higher authorities in ASI may not be aware. Please ask your friends, fellow artists, architects, travel sketchers and all art lovers and heritage lovers to sign this petition and express their concern. I am sure with enough support we can persuade ASI to review this and help us sketch without hindrance.
