Join us in working to maintain the safety and well-being of ALL Arcadia residents by supporting the Tiny Home Project!

The homeless crisis is spreading throughout California, and our city is not immune to this issue. As we have all seen, encampments are popping up in all areas of the city...affecting homes, businesses, parks, public and private property, and residents.

We have an incredible opportunity to begin addressing this issue, without any impact to our city budget...the project is fully funded by grants!

Tiny Homes will offer a bridge to success for individuals who need support. On-site outreach services include, but are not limited to: health/mental health care, counseling, drug rehab resources, preparation to re-enter the workforce, and long-term housing placement.

A stable foundation is key in the ability to commit to a therapy program, drug rehabilitation, or even seeking work. The Tiny Home Project provides a safe place to eat, sleep, and store personal possessions, thus alleviating those needs so the residents can focus on personal growth. The Tiny Home site will have clear borders, and a dedicated on-site security team to maintain safety.

Turning away from this opportunity will only allow the problem to continue. Concerns for public safety and property values can only be addressed by taking these first steps towards longer term solutions.

Compassion and property value are not mutually exclusive. We can have both!

Is it a quick fix? No. There is no quick fix for homelessness...but doing nothing will ABSOLUTELY make the situation worse, not to mention much more costly to our city than it already is.
