Approve the CITG Two-Year Extension by March 31, 2026

Approve the CITG Two-Year Extension by March 31, 2026
The Issue
We, the families and supporters of Church in the Gardens Nursery School (CITG), call on the Board of Trustees to immediately approve the newly offered two-year extension from the DOE.
This extension, received on March 16, 2026, provides a clear and viable path forward for our students, families, and dedicated staff. It offers the stability and time needed to thoughtfully plan for the school’s future, something a short-term or abrupt closure cannot provide.
Our Request
We urge the Trustees to formally approve the two-year extension no later than March 31, 2026.
Delaying or rejecting this opportunity would deny our community the ability to plan responsibly for the upcoming school year and would unnecessarily disrupt the lives of children, families, and educators who depend on CITG.
Why This Matters
CITG is more than a school, it is a pillar of our community. Our children deserve continuity, our teachers deserve clarity, and our families deserve time to make informed decisions.
By approving this extension, the Trustees can act in the best interest of the entire CITG community and ensure a stable, thoughtful transition forward.
We stand united in this request
