Hey there Team - Chicken soup had sent me a letter that recreational therapy is too narrow of a topic and that the stories wouldn't reach millions. We, RTs disagree. I send an email to Chicken Soup about every two weeks pointing out recreational therapies making national headlines. Here is today's email: Hey there Chicken Soup -- Therapy dogs are often provided through recreational therapy programs. Fox News posted a story about dogs providing therapy for people in hospitals. I feel confident that Chicken Soup would want to know about this inspirational story. I want Chicken Soup to approve a book of stories about recreational therapy helping people. Benefits: Chicken Soup would be the first publisher to do a book of these stories. There are many recreational therapists who would advocate and help promote the book as well.
