Gaining suppoRT Chicken Soup won’t publish our book of stories for Recreational Therapists. I felt they might be open to the idea if more than one individual (besides me) asked them. So, I sent an email and contacted several organizations and asked them if they would submit a letter of request to Chicken Soup to encourage them to make this book! I sent a letter asking: • The elected board members at ATRA if they’d submit a letter requesting Chicken Soup to approve this book project. • The President of each ATRA chapter-affiliate if they’d submit a letter requesting Chicken Soup to approve this book project. • The elected board members at the Canada Therapeutic Recreation Association to submit a letter requesting Chicken Soup to approve this book project. • The elected board members at NCTRC to ask if they’d submit a letter to Chicken Soup to approve this book project. Imagine how powerful of an impact it would be if all of these organizations did send a letter to Chicken Soup asking for this book project. I think it would definitely be powerful enough to get their attention.
