Hello,
I’m writing to provide an update on Watchung’s BoE activities and to remind everyone that there is a regular meeting tomorrow, June 6th, at 7PM in the VV APR. 

The released agenda has some good news. An interim superintendent has been selected and it looks like busses have been secured for next year.

However, according to the school website the only referendum projects slated for this summer are the attack film and basic maintenance items such as painting, flooring and handrails. The delay in approving DRG as the referendum architect, compounded with the loss of our superintendent, means projects remain stalled. It is unfortunate that Mr. Buccarelli is not on the operations committee to oversee this process. 

It has become apparent that in order for Mr. Buccarelli to be on the operations committee, Mr. Ingrassia must first be removed. This can only be done by Mrs. Murad. I hope she makes the right decision soon. Without a superintendent familiar to our district it is even more important that the operations committee is chaired by an experienced member
