This year in Rio it was voted that Softball would be put back in the Olympics for Tokyo 2020. This is a huge break through for the sport since it was removed after the 2004 Olympic games and is already causing a lot of talk which is only to get bigger the closer we get to 2020. If people are talking about it, that also means they are texting, tweeting, instagraming, facebooking, snapchating ect. about it and the only thing that is more fun than talking with words... is talking with emojis. I don't care if you are 5 or 50, everyone loves emojis and with softballs popularity growing, it's an injustice to the sport not to have its own. There are people that don't understand the difference between softball and baseball so giving softball its own emoji would help with global knowledge of the game thus increasing its popularity; and for all the people where softball is apart of their daily lives, they would finally be able to send a text about softball WITH a softball emoji. Hockey, soccer, weight lifting, golfing, skating... they all have their own emojis so where is the one for all the softball players of the world? Softball is becoming a hot topic so we might as well get an emoji in there to go along with all that talk.
