There is a sickening lack of depth in the amount of dinosaur emojis. T-Rex and Long Neck are the only two we’ve been given. No Velociraptor? No Stegosaurus? Not even a Triceratops? These are all iconic dinosaurs and yet they are absent from the lineup. It’s truly disgraceful. Apple had a plethora of really awesome and interesting dinosaurs to work with, but instead of including any of those, they gave us the absolute bare minimum. Pathetic. I believe Apple should move immediately to create at least 12 new dinosaur emojis. Some of the ones I would like to see included are as follows: Velociraptor, Triceratops, Stegosaurus, Ankylosaurus, Brachiosaurus, Spinosaurus, Pteranodon, Iguanodon, and at least one type of Hadrosaur. I would also encourage throwing in one or more of the more obscure- but not too obscure- dinosaurs such as Oviraptor, Baryonyx, or Compsognathus. A dinosaur egg emoji would also be appreciated. Bottom line is: we simply cannot continue living in a world with so few dinosaur themed emojis. We simply cannot. We want Apple to hear our pleas and to make our dreams come through. Together we can make a difference and create true, lasting change for the better. More Dinosaur Emojis!
