Welsh is a thriving language, and it only makes sense that we should be able to use it in anything and everything we do. In 2019 it was revealed that 891,100 people speak the language and the number is growing all the time.

For many people, Welsh is their first language and therefore struggle to read English. Having the Welsh language as an option would make technology more accessible to those who struggle with English.

There are also a lot of Welsh speakers who would be happy to volunteer time to help make this happen as well as the Welsh Government who is making it their initiative to ensure Welsh is available on all platforms.

This will provide additional domains for the language to be used and maintained by speakers and learners alike.

Not having Welsh in Wales is like not having English in England and we want to change that.
