Respected Sir,
We, the teachers and alumni of Jadavpur University, would like to send you this petition with “An Appeal to Safeguard Jadavpur University’s Academic Freedom and Autonomy” through email.
On the content of this petition, we have been collecting signatures of alumni of the university who are spread across the globe through an online platform. We are rather overwhelmed by the responses of the alumni, present and former teachers and students. Collection of signatures still continues. However, we submit this petition letter along with the petition content as well as the names of 5700+ signatories. We shall send you the names of the rest of signatories in a few days.
