Mustafa Kemal Atatürk was the leader of the Turkish nation's struggle for independence and the founder of the Republic of Türkiye. His ideas and achievements have left an important legacy not only in Türkiye but throughout the world in the pursuit of modernization and progress. An attack against Atatürk's values and the values he represented is not only disrespectful to the history of the Turkish people, but also to the universal values respected by humanity as a whole.

Recently, certain moderators on Paradox Interactive's Discord server made inappropriate and unacceptable insulting remarks about Atatürk. We view this incident as an affront to the cultural and national values held dear by our society, and we are deeply saddened and disappointed by what has occurred. Such a violation of the respect owed to the historical and cultural figures of a society is unacceptable on any platform.

In response to these unacceptable comments made by moderators on Paradox Interactive's Discord server, we call upon the company to issue an official apology. At the same time, we ask Paradox Interactive to take the necessary measures to ensure that such behavior does not happen again and to review its moderation policies in order to prevent similar incidents that offend and disrespect our community.

We believe that this incident should not be resolved with an apology alone. Paradox Interactive should take responsibility and take concrete and decisive steps to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future. Standing against disrespect toward Atatürk's legacy and person is important not only to the Turkish people but also to the principle of respecting the historical and cultural values of societies around the world.
