NC #692 Safety Standards For Squatted And Lifted Trucks
The Issue
As all of you may have heard NC Bill #692 states the banning of squatted or lifted passenger vehicles, such as trucks,SUV’s, or 4-wheel drive automobiles out of a 3 inch manufactured specific height in the front and lowering the automobile more than 2 inches from the manufacture’s specific height in rear. This is destroying the truck community, where thousands of people have come together as one to enjoy this trend of squatted and lifted trucks. People who have sent the bill in or created this has based it off of our headlight beams being directed into rear view mirrors of drivers in front of the trucks as a safety hazard. There is a law in NC that already states the vehicle size cannot exceed 102 inches wide, 13 feet 6 inches tall, or 40 foot long for a single vehicle. Everyone enjoys customizing your own vehicles to express yourself in whichever way is possible in response this trend was started. This trend has kept thousands of teens and young adults out of drugs and trouble with this all being said, all we are asking is you to please sign and spread the word so there can be more actions taken to not pass this bill on to Roy Cooper.
