Joan McAlpine MSP (SNP) and Jenny Marra MSP (Labour) both stood on manifestos for improving LGBT rights. But now they use their power to try to roll back LGBT rights.

Transgender Day of Remembrance is a day to remember trans people who were murdered because of transphobia—people murdered for being trans. It is absolutely shocking that these MSPs invited prominent anti trans campaigners to the Scottish Parliament on this Day of Remembrance. The date was clearly chosen deliberately and callously, in order to gaslight and abuse the trans community.

Major feminist organisations have rightly condemned these two MSPs. Sign our petition (please read our Privacy Policy) to pressure McAlpine and Marra into resigning, or else being expelled. Joan McAlpine is also unfit to oversee the census committee.
