For those who have never heard of Tokyo Babylon before, it's a seven volume manga published between 1990 and 1993 by the mangaka group CLAMP (also known for Cardcaptor Sakura, Magical Knights Rayearth, Chobits, Xxxholic, and doing the character designs for Code Geass)

One of their very first original published works, Tokyo Babylon follows the 13th head of the Sumeragi clan, 16-year-old Subaru, who lives in Tokyo with his twin sister Hokuto and works as an onmyouji, protecting Tokyo from supernatural threats. Often accompanying him is Seishirou Sakurazuka, a veterinarian who possesses some degree of mystical ability and claims to be in love with Subaru. Following what is often called a "case of the week" format, Tokyo Babylon showcases CLAMP's typical blend of well-plotted character drama and emotional and social themes, mixed together with beautiful art and the vibrant, venal setting of early 90s Tokyo.

Two OVA and one live-action movie have been produced as semi-canonical sidestories, although the manga itself has never been adapted to anime format.

An anime adaptation, produced by the studio, GoHands (K, Hand Shakers), was supposed to premiere in April 2021, but was canceled when the production team was revealed to have plagiarised costume and character designs from various sources.

With this petition, we hope to stir public interest in an adaptation of this wonderful manga.
