As the population have exploaded and the habitat for stray animals in India have shrinked, They are forced to leave their natural habitats and look out for foods in human habitated areas.

This make them prone to accidents on roads by any moving vehicle or anyother way.
The pain caused to those innocent animals and their life afterwards remain unspoken and they only bear it fighting alone and sometime they die as there is no treatment provided to them.

Though there are people who are considerate and there are organizations who take care of such animals. But on the larger part, The treatment has to be ultimately provided by a veterinary doctor.

I believe this petition should be supported for innocent stray animals who die in need of a treatment and veterinary doctor should take some social responsibilty to treat those stray animals. If they cant do it for free, they should charge nominally. Also, If one thinks that it could be misused by a few people to treat their own pets, One can always make a distinction between a stray and a adopted animal. And above all, Its a matter of moral grounds. And for this to happen, The above organizations to whom this petition is forwarded should take some actions like:

1.  It should be a rule for veterinary doctors to treat stray animals free or on nominal charges if someone volunteers to take the injured innocent animal to a veterinary doctor. 
2.  Teach veterinary doctors in their education to treat stray animals whever they find them lying.

I started this petition because there have been number of times in my life where I took a injured animal to a veterinary doctor and they didnt cooperate to charge any less.Last time A one month puppy who was over run by a car and his spine was broken and bleeding profusely(In the Photo of the Petition). Though his chances were minimal to survive. I told the doctor to cooperate as its a stray puppy and You should also socially contribute to some extent, However the veterinary doctor didnt help me a bit. And I have to bear all the expenditure till date. Now, I just wish for him to get on his feet again.

Your support to this petition can make stray animals life better and get them treated whenever they require it. The best part would be, people who are considerate for stray animals like you and me would be more motivated to take the unwell animal to a veterinary doctor. And veterinary doctors themself would be motivated to take care of the innocent animals.

I am hopeful that you and me together would do some good for these pure souls on the earth.
