Rohini Kapadia started this petition to Animal Welfare Board of India and

In this day and age, coming across so many of animal cruelty news and so often that it is shame that we humans are so self engrossed in our development and reforms that we don't care about the nature's other children.

The psychology of the humans who do such act of inhumanity and disdain will not improve until strict laws and punishments are not places upon them. These act just show that humans find it okay to show their anger and frustration on animals because they won't be caught or be punished for it.

In this incident, the only crime of the animal was thatbit slept in their boat. For which they hooked it to their fish bait then went on beating the dog with heavy stick until it died. Such offenders don't deserve mercy of the least.

And it is not okay for people in authority to come across such incident and not feel the pain or failure of the system which is unable to protect these innocent animals against our kind's cruel act.

I request and urge to the people in power to take this issue as seriously as any other crime infact this is the most heinous crime a human can commit. If you own a pet once just watch them and try to see how you would feel if your pet goes through such violence. I urge you to use the authority position to bring reforms in the existing laws against animal cruelty and cring some strict punishable laws for the accused which brign fear amongst those who do such crime.

Please help us in being justice to Bruno by punsihing the accused with severe punishment and let's make this case possible for the reforms necessary which will ensure that all living beings are treated equally.
