The Modern Foreign Languages Department at Northumbria University has provided hundreds of students with a first-class learning experience. This outstanding department is under threat of closure. We can't afford to sit back and watch as the hard work of one of the North East's leading promoters of internationalism is cast aside. 

This must not be allowed to happen!
