On April 3rd, 2002 Peter Wlasiuk and his late wife were in a catastrophic car accident with one unfortunate fatality, that being the intoxicated driver who was Mr. Wlasiuk's late wife that drove them down into a lake.  Due to the frigid water temperatures, hypothermia began to set in as Mr. Wlasiuk swam out of the open window and tried to pull her out as well.  With hypothermia setting in he wasn't able to pull her to shore as he barely made it out alive himself.  After swimming to shore he went for help frantically trying to find someone so that he could call 911 to get the much needed help.  When the first responders finally arrived, it was too late and sadly she drowned.

She was an actively addicted alcoholic, not ready for recovery, who was a nurse at a local hospital where the small town community was riddled with her enablers.  Her bloodline cousin was the Assistant District Attorney of the County.  It was an election year with the usual "tough on crimes" spiel for the elections.  This car accident became the County's golden ticket for massive amounts of corruption to spin a web of injustice at it's fullest.  

Mr. Wlasiuk is a decorated Army Veteran, honorably discharged, who has been wrongfully convicted and incarcerated for what will be life for a crime that never happened.  Finally after 18 years and counting we have uncovered enough to merit an ACTUAL INNOCENCE claim on his motion that can prove his actual and factual innocence!  Can you imagine signing away your life for the freedoms of the citizens in your country only to be robbed those very freedoms by being held hostage in a cage as a legalized slave for a crime that you are actually INNOCENT and wrongfully convicted of; the said crime that never even happened because you were the passenger in a car accident in the very County where the ADA was related to the driver???

Please help us bring further awareness to Mr. Wlasiuk's wrongful conviction by signing this petition for the above recipients to turn his injustice into justice. 

Statistics prove that wrongful convictions is an actual epidemic sweeping our nation, hence the countless exonerated individuals, where it robs innocent humans out of their life, liberties and freedoms holding them hostage in cages for merely being completely innocent. On average it can take a wrongfully convicted human up to several decades of lost time to overturn such horrendous injustices proving their innocence.
