I called the marketplace yet again today and, of course, spoke to a different representative. Our son's eligibility still has not been run. He's been without health insurance for the entire month of July due to their error and now he will be without insurance for at least part of August! This representative put in a request to have the eligibility expedited due to his medical illnesses. I asked if there was anyone there that I could speak to so that this issue could be resolved and she informed me that there is nothing they can do until his eligibility is run. They have all of the documents necessary and have had all the necessary documents to run his eligibility. Everyone else in my family has insurance now except him! This is completely unacceptable, illegal and down right unfair! We will have to pay out of pocket again for his prescriptions, and he has an appointment with his allergist on August 20th that he absolutely can not miss. It will cost us close to $1000.00 for all of that without health insurance. We have done nothing wrong. This is their error and they just won't fix it. They won't run his eligibility now! It should have been run weeks ago but for some reason, and no one can answer, they still haven't done it! Please sign my petition. Please share this with your friends and family. Please help me change the way this place works because it's quite obvious it isn't working now! Thank you for your support.
