After numerous calls with multiple representative who all said something different, I knew we weren't going to get anything accomplished through the marketplace. I decided to call the Attorney General, Health Care Bureau, and file a complaint. I also wrote letters to the NYSDOH, the governor and anyone else I thought could help us. Yesterday, I received a phone call from a NYS health department official, who informed me that my son's insurance had been reinstated and they are reviewing the case with several staff members so that changes will be made so that this hopefully does not occur again. She assured me that training would be given to representatives also. I thank you all very much for your support during this very troubling time for our family. I'm very happy that our son has his health insurance back but I'm very happy that I was able to get some changes started in the way this company works.
