STFX: Leaders and champions live here, but they can't park here. Being asked to pay park at a university in which you already pay thousands in tuition reflects the greed of the institution.

As StFX has now sold more parking permits than it has parking spaces, they have now elected to stop selling permits, and start ticketing those without them - the very students that can least afford them in the first place.  Students who could not afford a permit initially are now being charged more to drive to campus and attend class.  We are now offered a spot on a waiting list for the opportunity to purchase a pass at some future date.  (Where will the next parking lot be, and when will it open?)

The current schedule of parking fees on the StFX campus is discriminatory toward those who cannot afford parking fees, and biased in favour of faculty and staff.  Furthermore, those who can afford a pass aren't guaranteed a parking spot anyways! Until it reflects equity toward students, staff, and faculty, it must be suspended.
