We, the students in your anatomy class, respectfully ask that you consider curving the recent test. Many of us felt that the exam was much more difficult than expected, and a large number of students believed that some of the questions did not match the chapters or material we were told to study.

We understand that tests are meant to challenge us and measure our understanding. However, many students left the test feeling confused and discouraged, even after studying the assigned chapters. Because of this, we feel that the test may not have fully reflected the material we reviewed in class or were expected to prepare for.

We are not asking to avoid responsibility for our grades. We are simply asking for fairness and consideration, since many students shared the same concern about the difficulty of the test and the content covered. A curve or another adjustment would help better reflect our understanding of the material.
