People who used drugs needs treatment within a conducive and enabling environment. They should be given the right to opt the services/programs that they wishes to undergo. 

No single treatment works for all the users. Its a matter of choice which best fits them. A comprehensive ranges of services are available and engaging them in a continuum of care is what matters.  Universally we had two popular and pragmatic program such as Demand and Harm reduction.

All programs should be held in an enabling environment, free from judgmental attitudes but with care and compassion.

All programs designed and implemented for users should be monitored and evaluated touching the very essence of it. Tokenism in program implementation and practices gives a leeway for bad practices and further on compromising user-centric approaches.
