The Issue

I am pleading with you to stop harming innocent people who suffer 24/7 in chronic intractable pain by taking away our Doctors ability to properly treat us. You have lumped us together with street drug users, people who have surgery and like the "high" they get from their 1 maybe 2 prescriptions of narcotics and then turn to the streets to keep getting that high.

People with chronic intractable pain much more often then not never even have that euphoric feeling as do what we call "the normals" people. All we feel from them is some relief so that we can have somewhat of a normal life again. With the new CDC's Guidelines now in place our doctors are afraid to treat us as they know they need to because they do not want to lose their licenses and/or go to jail. So they are taking away the things we spent years figuring out worked best for us to alleviate our pain so we could function and literally making many of us bed ridden again because of pain so excruciating we can not even think of moving.

If you would take the time to separate us from the street drug addicts, and the people who do become addicted because they have acute not chronic pain you would find that we are not the problem, but are the ones being the most punished by it. Many chronic pain patients have already committed suicide because of the CDC guidelines, who is going to be held responsible for that? It definetly is not the Doctors fault nor is it the chronic pain patients fault as the pain gets to a point where you have no other choice for relief of anykind. It is very easy to find that this is true about chronic pain patients not being addicted, therefore they are not the problem you are trying to solve. Thus treatment programs would also be a waste of money on us since we are not addicted. Please do your research as there are over 10,000,000 people in the US that suffer from some form of chronic intractable and we are being treated cruelly and inhumanly. It is very easy to find that I am telling you facts just google chronic intractable pain and LEARN that we need our doctors to be able to treat us properly and if that means using opioids so be it. Otherwise you are going to be responsible for many suicides in the coming months and years.
