It's easy to look at this petition and say "oh, only a couple hundred signatures". "It doesn't really matter". What only I see is how many countries are represented from those who have signed the petition. It's grown to be so many that I long ago lost count. So next time you catch yourself thinking "oh, I'm just one person, I don't really matter, I don't count" remember this petition and the people signing from so many different countries around the world. Many of which might never have known about the situation in Amsterdam and the Red Light District had they not signed the petition. This weekend also marks the anniversary of One, the Campaign to Stop Global Poverty. So whatever you do, wherever you are in the world remember that your voice matters.
