Everyone deserves their own freedom of speech. It’s our 1st Constitutional right given to us by our wonderful founding fathers. However, the desecration of our nations flag should be off limits. Our flag doesn’t just signify our country. It shows remember to the thousands of the bravest men and women who have given the ultimate sacrifice fighting overseas to keep us all safe back at home. It pays homage to the hundreds of years we’ve all given to perfecting our country to where it stands today. It signifies our history and all of its fearless leaders including Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, Harriet Tubman, Susan B. Anthony, Betsy Ross, and countless others. Burning, stomping, ripping, and vandalizing, our nations flag is putting all of those incredibly influential names to shame. Don’t let all of our historical figures hard work be put to shame by desecrating the one flag that represents all of them. It’s time we lock in all of their blood, sweat and tears and pass a legislation to make vandalizing the american flag a federal offense! God bless you all and god bless the U.S.A.
