I am a resident of Meadows of Bayberry, and like many of my neighbors, enjoy the comfort and community our neighborhood promises. However, there is one issue that unnecessarily burdens many of us - the deep-seated restriction against above ground pools imposed by our Homeowners Association (HOA).

Many of us cannot bear the steep costs of installing in-ground pools. The average price of an in-ground swimming pool ranges from $58,000 to $80,000, which is a massive financial undertaking (source: HomeGuide). On the other hand, above ground pools are much more affordable, hence providing a reasonably priced opportunity for us to enjoy our warm summers in our backyards.

This petition seeks to amend the HOA rules to permit above ground pools in our community. This amendment will not harm the aesthetic or property values, but offer a viable alternative to the homeowners who dream of having their private pool but are hindered by the heavy expenses. Above ground pools can be as tasteful and classy as in-ground pools, with the added benefit of being affordable.
