The petition has resonated with so many Canadians across the country it has truly blown me away. We have just surpassed 1,500 signatures and still going strong. 

Our goal this week is to get our message heard in Ottawa.  Self-employed and part-time workers with significantly reduced income should not be excluded from receiving CERB assistance.  Nor should they be incentivized to turn down work, quit their part-time jobs, or stop pursuing new client contracts.

We will be taking this petition along with the stories many of you have shared with us to Members of Parliament across the country.

I also want to give special thanks to those that have been actively sharing and promote this petition.  We really could not have got this far without you!  The importance of word of mouth to this campaign can not be understated.

For those that would like to get more involved, we are currently contemplating the idea of creating a community group those interested to organize.
