Hello Hills of Shaenfield,

For the sake of security and privacy, I would like everyone to be able to have the chance to build an 8ft privacy fence if they desire. Currently, our CC&R’s restrict us from building fences taller than a certain height, unless approval is given which limits our ability to ensure safety and seclusion for our families.

Privacy fences can significantly reduce noise pollution and provide a safer environment for children and pets. They also deter potential intruders by creating a physical barrier that is harder to breach. According to the San Antonio Police Department, neighborhoods with higher fences report fewer incidents of trespassing (source: San Antonio Police Department Crime Statistics).

Let's come together as a community and request that the CC&R’s be amended so we can all benefit from enhanced security and privacy. Please sign this petition if you support allowing 8ft privacy fences in our neighborhood!
