There is power in numbers as the saying goes and your voice matters. All too often residents voice concerns into the abyss of social media. But banning open burning for development won't happen via social media rather in the halls of the capital.

Like PFAS contamination thats plagued our water sources by irresponsible disposal of chemical into North Carolinas waterways. Our air is being contaminated in the name of progress and a bottom line. The proof hazards brought on by this burning are irrefutable and published by our own government. Just as we learned of the dangers of PFAS leading to action to protect North Carolinians, the time has come to take action against the pollution being released into the air. 

There are better and more responsible ways to build North Carolina. It's time for the leadership to create legislation that protects its constituents not lobbyists pockets.
