Consumers have a right to know where products they intend to purchase are made. They have the right to know which products are made locally and which are imported. They have a right to support local industry and jobs. Help them do it.

Ecommerce companies are flushing the market with products, and their own private brands - driving a discount and deal seeking culture that is cut off from the responsibility that people have of supporting local communities and jobs. Many of these products that are being sold are cheap imports from China and there is no way for people to know what they purchasing till the time they receive things at home. 

The intention is not that the companies take international products off their shelves - consumers have every right to buy what they want to buy. Just inform us and let us decide. It's basic Right to Information.

Labels on products all have this information anyway. All that needs to be done is replicate that info in the product description sections. Compulsorily. By law eventually.
