AWS Regions in Eastern Europe and the Balkans

AWS Regions in Eastern Europe and the Balkans
The Issue
AWS Infrastructure in Eastern Europe.
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the world’s most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform, offering over 200 fully-featured services from data centers globally.
AWS has the largest global infrastructure footprint of any provider, and this footprint is constantly increasing at a significant rate. It already has 84 Availability Zones within 26 geographic regions around the world and has announced plans for 24 more Availability Zones and 8 more AWS Regions in Australia, Canada, India, Israel, New Zealand, Spain, Switzerland, and United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Despite the fact that AWS has the most extensive global cloud infrastructure, there have not been any disclosed plans yet for a Europe East, Southeast, or Balkan AWS Region.
If we take a look into the AWS Global Infrastructure Map: https://aws.amazon.com/about-aws/global-infrastructure/
All the European AWS Regions and Availability Zones are located within the Western and Northern countries.
Having Eastern European or Balkan AWS Regions would significantly equalize the Web Services distribution, providing low latency, high throughput, and highly redundant networking to more people.
