Thank you for your email.

We appreciate your time and effort to arrange a zoom meeting last week and to hear our views on the leash-free dog park in Ward 6 around Berczy Park.

Similarly, our members would welcome an opportunity to be able to attend and present our views to the planning department on the importance of a leash-free dog park in our community. 

As we had mentioned during our zoom call, in a developed community like ours, there are currently very few places that meet the guidelines as required by the city. We feel that both the city and the community would get a bigger bang for our tax dollars by converting existing but under-utilized green spaces into a year-round leash-free dog park.

We hope that as mentioned during our zoom call, we would get an update on the progress of the city`s review by the end of this month.
