I am following up on our email from August 5th, 2021 and our petition for an off-leash dog park in Markham.
We trust that your office has had the time to review our petition that has been signed by nearly 500 pet parents and dog lovers in our neighbourhood. I have attached the link below for your information and review.
Our pet parents are eagerly waiting for the zoom meeting to discuss and share their views on the importance of a safe, off-leash year-round dog park in our neighborhood. I speak for all dog owners in stating that we are all responsible members of society and we are just looking for a safe area for pet members of our family.
We have attached some photos taken by pet family members to reiterate the importance of a safe area for our pets as the trash strewn in our parks after sporting events is a hazard to our pets.
