As a concerned student of Institute of Business Administration, Karachi, Pakistan, I am deeply disturbed by the ongoing crisis in Gaza. Innocent men, women and children are being murdered and it is our responsibility to take a stand against those who aid in this genocide. PepsiCo is one such company that has been linked with supporting these atrocities. The Institute of Business Administration (IBA) currently offers only PepsiCo products as drink options on its premises. This means that every time we purchase a beverage from IBA, we indirectly support the actions of PepsiCo.

According to reports from international human rights organizations, numerous multinational corporations including PepsiCo have been implicated in supporting activities contributing to the crisis in Gaza (source: Amnesty International). By choosing alternative beverage providers at IBA, we can make a small but significant stand against these atrocities.

It's time for us to demand change at our institution. Let's urge IBA to provide alternative drink options beyond those offered by PepsiCo. By doing so, we can ensure that our choices reflect our values and do not contribute towards any form of violence or oppression.
