Thank you to all who signed the petition. I have just talked to Mr. Mackay who has seen our petition. I have been commended and we have discussed the rules. We are allowed to use our devices for schoolwork during 1st and 2nd Break with permission from the librarian, you will also be needed to be monitored in case you are on video games. The rule is mainly so we get outside and enjoy the fresh air which I have no problem with. Another reason is the current rule states that years 7-8 cannot use their devices and because years 9-10 share the same uniform they cannot stop the years 7-8 from going on their computer.
