It’s time that we acknowledge the fact that many women have painful periods that can affect their ability to function at their best.  Not only do periods affect many of us physically, but they also affect us mentally, and emotionally as well! In certain countries they allow women to take “menstrual leave” and it’s time we bring this over to the United States of America.
