I am writing this petition to address a pressing issue that affects many residents in our neighborhood of Springettsbury Township, PA 17402. It has come to my attention that individuals who own trailers, boats, and recreational vehicles (RVs) are being forced to remove them from their properties due to township rules. This not only infringes upon our personal freedom but also poses unnecessary inconvenience for those who enjoy these recreational activities.

As a resident myself and a trailer owner, I have witnessed the frustration and disappointment of my neighbors as they are told they cannot park their trailers or boats on their own property. Many of us take pride in owning these possessions and enjoy the freedom they provide for family outings or weekend getaways and work. However, the current regulations restrict us from conveniently storing them on our premises, especially corner lots.

It is important to note that this petition does not advocate for parking these vehicles in a way that obstructs traffic visibility or poses any safety hazards. We fully understand the importance of maintaining clear sightlines for drivers and pedestrians alike. Our request is solely focused on allowing trailer, boat, and RV parking on private property when it does not affect traffic visibility and is placed on a stone or paved pad.
