The year 12s at Fortitude Valley State Secondary College firmly believe that we should be allowed to wear our jerseys for more than a single Tuesday during the week. We understand that it is a privilege to wear them as they represent our school and us as leaders of the school but we believe that we should be allowed to utilise the chance to wear them more (everyday or at least 2 more days).

This is for many reasons 

1. Some people have TAFE or apprenticeships during the week usually on Tuesday's  so by doing this, they completely miss the chance to be able to wear their jerseys despite having paid for it 
2. It unites us as a year to be able to wear it as it boosts school culture and motivation and encourages unity and togetherness because if we show up like a team of year 12s then we feel more like one cohort, yes uniforms exist for this same reason but the whole school has the same uniform and I believe that the year 12s should  be able to show up as a year 12 cohort 
3. After doing the math, it would only be two full weeks of us being allowed to wear then and at $77 that is rather expensive for only two weeks of wear
4. we think that after our careful consideration and math - cost by wear analysis we should be able to wear them for more than two weeks because it would be cheaper for the school to allow us to wear them for more than one day
