Allow the use of (specific) Casio Calculators for TU Delft Aerospace Exams

The Issue

We, the first-year Aerospace Engineering students, propose that the use of Casio scientific calculators be allowed during exams, in addition to the Texas Instruments TI-30XB calculator provided by the university.

While the TI calculator is functional for our courses, many students find themselves struggling to get used to it, either due to prior experience with Casio calculators or the unintuitive functions of the TI-30XB. Allowing the option for students to use their own Casio calculators, provided they are comparable in function to the TI-30XB, could improve the speed and accuracy of calculations, especially under the pressure of exams. Students will assume the cost of acquiring the Casio calculators themselves.

We believe this change would be beneficial to our academic performance and appreciate your support by signing this petition.
