Good day everyone,

We are pleased to share that our presentation to Halton Hills Council on Monday, October 27 was a success! Council unanimously approved a motion directing Town staff to review the safety, risk, and liability considerations related to allowing portable sports equipment on Town property (i.e. boulevards) during designated months, and to report back with recommendations by the end of Q1 2026.

As we enter an election year, we encourage you to connect with your local Councillor and ask how they plan to support children and families in achieving a reasonable balance between safety, accessibility, and opportunities for healthy outdoor recreation in our community.

We will continue to monitor progress and will provide an update in early 2026 once staff recommendations are available.
