Allow Sakura Restaurant to Continue Hosting Community Events

The Issue

My family's business, Sakura in Moreton in Marsh, has always been more than just a restaurant to us and the local community. We don’t just serve food; we serve smiles, laughter, quiz answers, and even dance moves. Our live music nights, Boogie Bingo, and quiz nights do more than entertain; they create a sense of community and unity which is at risk of being snuffed out. The council has issued an abatement notice restricting the conduction of any events deemed 'amplified'. This decision is not privy to the significant impact Sakura has on the local community. It singularly provides a variety of events unmatched in the area, in an industry traditionally challenging and particularly vulnerable in the current climate. Without these events, not only do we risk losing our unique standing among competitors, but we face the grim possibility of closing our doors for good. Due to these given facts, we urge the local council to reconsider this decision. Your signatures could help us ensure Sakura continues to be a hub for events, for making memories and for just having a good time - life is too short to not be able to have a bit of fun and happiness!
