Allow refreshments back in Cary Park

The Issue

The rent that was being paid to trade at the park was helping to towards the funding of a toilet for the children and everyone who uses the free park. Currently the bushes along the park are being used as a toilet. All of the people that used the refreshment facility all agreed that this was very much needed. Since the redevelopment of the park it has now become very popular with parents, grandparents and also carers within the Babbacombe and St Marychurch area. This park is used throughout the day for picnics so having the choice of teas and coffee was much appreciated. However with no toilets it makes a days out a little difficult for the young and old. We are trying to promote the use of a free facility that is helping children develop and make the most of getting out in the fresh air and staying active.
