I haven't posted an update in quite a while. I had to let my mind and thoughts "take a break" from thinking about the injustice served up by the state of Florida. How is it that a 38 year old man's life can be ended by a hospital's negligent actions, thoughtless administration of medications or maybe just pure ignorance be allowed a "pass"? When hospitals and their employees are allowed to commit negligent acts causing death there should be repercussions to that hospital and staff. With Florida's current, long-standing law regarding "Wrongful Death", there were no repercussions in my son's case! I will never get over losing my son! Whoever said that "time heals all wounds" was crazy. That is not true. Please help renew interest in my petition by sharing and posting with your friends and family. My son's situation could be your families situation at some point. The law is a slap in the face to family members.
