Mr. Nicols is one of the best coaches and mentors I've ever had. His passion for basketball and commitment to his students go beyond just the game; he genuinely cares about making a positive impact in their lives. At Lakeville South, Mr. Nicols has not only been an outstanding Girls Basketball coach but also a beloved teacher who is deeply invested in creating a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for all students.

Despite his dedication and effectiveness in these roles, Mr. Nicols is currently unable to continue his career in the Lakeville School District specifically Lakeville South High School. This decision does not only affect him but also the countless students and athletes who have thrived under his guidance.

We believe that Mr. Nicols deserves the opportunity to reclaim his teaching and coaching positions in the Lakeville School District. He has proven time and time again his ability to inspire and connect with students on multiple levels, fostering an environment where everyone feels wanted and supported.

To those making decisions in the Lakeville School District, please reconsider your stance and allow Mr. Nicols the opportunity to return to what he does best—educating and coaching with passion and dedication.
